My fiance and I live in Ohio but plan on having a small beach wedding in 2013 in South Carolina. We want just the family at the ceremony and are planning a big reception up in my grooms hometown. My parents and i would be footing the bill for room and travel for everyone attending. We just found out that several of my fiances family members including his grandparents think it is foolish and said that they would not be attending. I am not sure what we should do since this news has put a bit of a damper on my spirits.
