My wedding was on Saturday and it was the perfect day! It started out with the horrible storms in the middle of the night, but even with very little sleep, nothing would stop us from having the time of our lives.

Then moved on to the ceremony at Shannon Hall in Batavia. I was so pleased with all of my DIY and how it came together. I did the potted plants, pew bows, programs, unity candle, paper cones for confetti out of book pages, and jewelry myself. The ceremony itself was gorgeous and we wrote our own vows.
Then we moved on the reception at Fox Valley Country Club in North Aurora. We had the time of our lives partying the night away. I did a lot more DIY for this part of the day too, including the centerpieces, table numbers out of book pages, the guest book, escort cards and favors, and we even choreographed our first dance together.

I'd recommend all of these venues completely! The ceremony site was gorgeous and FVCC was very accommodating. The food was amazing (especially the prime rib). Our cake was from Divine Desserts in Geneva, also amazing! Now we are off to Riviera Maya in Mexico on Saturday and we can't wait!
