Wedding Invitations & Paper

Instead of glue dots...?

We used an Ad Tech Dot Glue Runner to attach our invites & mats to our pocketfolds over the past few days. I just picked up a pocketfold to put in an envelope and the mat had completely come loose, despite just sitting on the table since being glued. I'm afraid to mail them out like this because I don't want them to fall apart when people receive them. Any advice?

  • I just had the same problem only with permanent adhesive. I had done them all and realized they weren't setting as permanently as I wanted before I was about to stuff them into envelopes! I ended up redoing ALL of them (not even finished actually) and I asked about adhesives in the DIY forum. People suggested 3m spray mount, or 3m super 77 spray mount. Using it now and it'll make it stick alright! It sticks to everything though when you spray it, so you need to set up a station for yourself covering your table with paper or something so it doesn't get on the table.
