Table Linens

Does anyone know of good places with plain table linens that aren't a forune to rent. Also, is it tacky to have plastic table covers?

No idea on where a cheap place for linen rental might be. We just used what our hall supplied. L'Nique and Miller's Party Rental rent linens and both have web sites where you might get an idea of pricing to see if it suits your budget.

As for plastic table covers, IMO if you are having a casual, picnic/bbq style reception, I wouldn't consider it to be 'tacky'. If you have a more formal event in mind, I'd choose a type of cloth covering for the tables instead.

When is your wedding?  I"m not sure what your colors are, but we are getting married in Feb, and we purchased our linens, black satin from e-favormart.com.  They were cheaper to buy them, then rent them.  So if for some reason you need black satine table linens, let me know and I'll give you a great deal, lol.

IDK if this company is actually good or not, but I came across the website a while ago and am considering ordering some things from them in the future.

I have used Sitting Pretty Linens for a friends baby shower, they were very friendly and have every color/material possible.

Thanks for the tip on the linens!  These are WAY cheaper than renting! <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />

    go to www.tableclothsfactory.com

I am going to buy them there...very inexpensive and they are NOT plastic! I will be doing a black and white damask table cloth with a green runner...very do-able on the budget!

    Good luck!
