Mini-moon in Newport...recommendations?!

Hi ladies,

So my fiance and I were just made aware he is to be deployed in 6 weeks!  He may not be back for our wedding in 2011.  So we're quickly putting together a small ceremony and want to take a mini-honeymoon in Newport for a few days.

Any thoughts for a short honeymoon in Newport?!

    I always do a "weekend getaway " in Newport with my fiance or friends once a year.

    What kind of budget are you looking for?

    I think planning a hotel for a few nights-- depending on your budget...
    And then a few nice dinners- beach, and the mansions is a great and romantic honeymoon-- what about a sail boat ride?

    A sunset cruise is only 35 pp and includes champagne and beer and will be really romantic and sweet:
