sucks. i'm doing both the new job (with no training) and the old job (no replacement yet) right now. the woman i took over for was put onto a special project, and has basically disappeared off the face of the earth. I have a good team, but their roles are more administrative/technical, so I'm not getting all of the training i need from them.
on the plus side, I have a whole new supplier base to work with - which means I'm going to be getting a lot of free lunches over the next few weeks/months.
