What did you girls do for OOT gift bags?? I need about a 100. I want them cute and inexpensive. Where do I look?
I will be in Mumbai for my wedding, did any of you get them from India?

I didn't get them - OOT gift bags, only because we were catering all the food during their stay (at my parent's home) - we did mithai/prasad bags at the wedding, and then favor boxes with Caribbean Rum Cake that my mom made @ the reception in addition to diyas that my friends/cousins wrapped up for each guest.

I figure though, if you were going to DIY OOT Gift Bags - the ladies in the Wedding Boards\DIY section might have a lot of ideas of what you can put in them - maybe maps to some interesting destinations in Mumbai, tickets to a ride on the river (hopefully inexpensive), water bottles, assorted bangle colors?

@kp..thanks for the links, they have some really good ideas.

@Bells IODEX..lol..loved ur suggestions, I know ittar but didn't think of it. Thank you.

What about the bags themselves? (I am ruling out paper bags because I dont think they'll hold the weight).

The bags.... I went to www.papermart.com for organza bags in bulk, but they do have a lot of gift bags...

I went to parekhcards.com for invitations and wedding programs, and now they do personalized gift bags... http://parekhcards.com/weddingcards.asp?ct=18&cards=Personalised+Gift+Bags

Also, if you have a store called cost plus world market, or razmataz, they stock indian gift bags :)

@Bells Do you have any pics of your favor bags and do you remember wher you got them from? I like the idea of wicker baskets.
