Yes it is almost 3 months late in coming but here is the story,,,,,
Bill and I had been dating for a long time, seven years in fact. I had been impatient about getting engaged for a long time, and Bill knew how I felt. Well, on October 12, after a long day teaching, Bill asked me to head down to the lake with him to take some pictures. I went reluctantly, as I had lots of papers to grade. He had me stand by the lighthouse on the pier while he set up the camera. After setting the timer on the camera, he came over, knelt down and pulled out the ring. I told him that this was inapproprate becasue I thought he was joking. He said he was totally serious and wanted to marry me. After gettting over the initial shock and "deer in headlights" look, I told him yes! I couldn't be happier. I get to marry the love of my life and my best friend.
