Hi Board

we had ordered some chocolates from a company in the city whom we just found out that they went out of business :-(

Just wondering if anyone on this board has some great recs for a locally sourced, yummy place where we can get our favors for our wedding from - -anywhere in the city or Weschester would do/

I was in their store a few weekends ago. The store itself doesn't look glamorous but they have lots and lots of bulk candy:

They are located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

My fiance and I bought our candy at the Lindt store. There is one on Fifth Avenue in Midtown and you can buy large quantities there. http://www.lindtusa.com/

Their cookies/pies are amazing, and I know they do cookies and slices of pie for favors.

Olive Kita located in Rhinebeck, NY has great chocolates. They are not super cheap but he makes awesome chocolates.

Thanks for the help! The Oliver Kita website seems right up our alley! We are all about artisinal/ local so we are going to try them, the cocoa nib sounds delicious that's what we are having in our wedding cake, thanks all!

They are in Rockland County but Lucas' Chocolates in Haverstraw. We used them for our E-Party Favors (Chocolate Caramel Truffles) and everyone raved about them!
