Minnesota-Minneapolis and St. Paul

Venue for self-catering reception in Twin Cities?

We want to cater our reception using our own caterer. Any ideas for great winter reception venues where we can bring in our own food/cocktails? I checked out a couple of theater venues, but the options in Minneapolis/St. Paul seem limited for this approach. Thank you!

I always recommend Four Seasons Dance Studio.  I think a winter reception could be quite magical there, but not sure what look you're hoping for...

The Three Rivers Park District lets you bring in your own caterer, but not your own booze.  Lot's of options available, depending on your guest list size.

Most parks will let you bring in your own catering, but usually have a specific vendor for alcohol.

Harriet Island Pavillion in Saint Paul is pretty and they even have a fireplace!

Off the top of my head...

    Old Arizona Theater
    PNA Hall
    Murzyn Hall
    Shoreview Community Center
    Landmark Center
    Harriet Island Pavilion
    Cinema Ballroom
St. Paul Academy and Summit School Dining Hall

    Church Halls with Open Catering*:
    St. Patrick's (Inver Grove Hts)
    Guardian Angels (Oakdale)
    St Peter's (North St. Paul)

*Most church halls will let you BYO food and alcohol and have their mens' group serve it and use the tips as fundraising money for their service projects.

I know the Anoka County Parks lets you bring in your own food (including non licensed caterers) and your own beer & wine.

The Historic Washington County Courthouse in Stillwater. You can bring in any licensed caterer, and you can bring in your own booze (you just have to have a bartender, but they don't have to be licensed.)

ETA: Only drawback, no hard liquor allowed...
