HOtels near phoenixille

I am getting married this summer at Rivercrest Golf Club in Phoenixville. I am looking for a hotel close by where my guests can stay and continue the celebration. Can you recommend a local hotel that has a hotel bar or a bar in the parking lot that is in the Phoenxville area??  Also any ideas on shuttles for the guests??

    The Courtyard Marriott in Collegeville (near the drug companies) is about 5 minutes down the road.  It was just refurbished.  You'll have to check on the bar situtation though. Phoenixville itself has several bars which would be open.

    The Courtyard in Collegeville is definitely the closest.  From their website it looks like they might have a VERY small bar.  Not sure how long it is open either.  KOP/Valley Forge is not that far and they are building a new casino by the convention center that is to open in the Spring (not sure when you are getting married).  That could also be an option and would have things for your guests to do after the reception.

    Courtyard Collegeville.  I'm pretty sure they have a deal worked out with Rivercrest too.  My friend had a wedding at Rivercrest and I believe the Courtyard offered free shuttle services to/from Rivercrest.  The bar area is actually pretty big- the probably seats 60 people.  I didn't stay overnight but went back for a few drinks after their wedding and the people from our wedding were pretty much the only people in the bar but it stayed open.

    There is a Homewood Suites in Audubon. I don't know if they have a bar but there is a chickie n pete's that just opened nearby. I am pretty sure they are walking distance - across the street. That may be something to check out.
