  Relaxing on the beach at an all inclusive and staying in one place (Dominican Republic) or driving around to different beaches and eating at lots of different places (St. Maarten).
  
  We are planning St. Maarten in May, because we like to explore!

  In St. Maarten we are staying at Princess Heights. Only $129/night! It's a little out of the way, but we plan to drive everywhere, and we like that it's a quieter beach. http://www.princessheights.com/

  those both look great i looked at both of them as options. if you havent booked yet, look at cheapcaribbean.com and search for those resorts, i think they had a way cheaper option for the la samanna resort, and i know the princess resort was on there too

  I did already book. Used hotels.com so I got some extra nights added to the 10 nights, get 1 free promotion they always have. Now I'm only one night booking away!
