    We went in June and July and no, we didn't get any vaccinations.  We also stayed in mostly high touristy areas though....Manuel Antonio in the Central Pacific area and in La Fortuna, Arenal.  If you plan on visiting less touristy areas like the Caribbean side or the Osa Peninsula I would double check and see if it's more necessary.  It seems like I remember reading something like this in one of my Costa Rica travel books.  I'll check for you later and see if I can find it!

    Thanks ladies.  We are staying on the Pacific side which the CDC says is a "very low" risk.  The airline said something about a vaccination when we booked our flights but our travel agent didn't mention anything.  I think we will skip it.
