Hiya ladies...
I am planning my Q-C July wedding from the Washington, D.C. area and having some trouble finding ceremony musicians. We are getting married at the Q-C Botanical Center, probably in the Sun garden, and it will be VERY small and VERY quick ceremony, I feel that spending a few hundred dollars is just too much considering the venue itself was only $175... lol. Dana Starkell is already booked, I have emailed a few other people and waiting on responses, wanted to see if anyone else on here had some personal referrals, even for college students or other area classical guitarists, woodwind players, string players, etc. who might have some wedding experience. I'm a music teacher so I know it's foolish to want someone good for nothing but I also know how much people earn for wedding gigs. I would just like someone live if possible! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! TIA!
