I got married in manhattan on 4/30/2011 and still havent recieved our marriage license yet. if i may ask, how long did it take the rest of you to recieve yours? our priest told us to expect a week to go by but this is now 3 weeks later. =/

    It can take anywhere from 6 - 8 weeks.  April 30 is a bit of a busy weekend, so give it another week or two before following up with the city clerks office.

    Usually it really takes a couple of weeks before you can get your marriage license. Just set back and wait for about  4-6 weeks maybe you will have it at that time. Congratulations for your wedding.:)
