Thank you! Of course I don't mind sharing the story :-) My FI (that's so cool to say!) and I have been in a long distance relationship for the past year and a half. So his parents have never met mine. They came down to my parents house last night and just as we were getting ready to go do dinner FI said I have something to ask first, I go ask me? My dad goes of course who else haha. And with that FI got up from sitting next to me and stood in front of me telling me how much we both have been waiting this the past few months. Then he got down on one knee and asked if I would be his wife. I was crying and couldn't get sounds to come out of my mouth so I was nodding yes and finally got a yes to come out. He opened the box and I yelled oh my god! Then he went to put the ring on my finger, I put my hand out to put it on and he pulled back looked at me with a smirk and giggle and asks, are you sure? I finally got to say a clear and loud yes, with that he put my e-ring on and I lunged on top of him and just squeezed him so hard. I knew it was going to be coming soon, but I was thinking more next month. I NEVER expected it to be last night! He wanted our parents to both be there so neither of us wanted to run home to show and tell everyone. It finally sank in this morning and I am definitely on could 9!
