Hi fellow Aug 2013 Brides!
So here's the situation:
Our first choice venue for both our ceremony and reception is the local Golf & Country Club. It's a private golf course, and we're not members (I'm a full time student and the membership is 5000/year) - but they'll still let non-members book weddings there. The stipulation is that if you aren't a member you can't book until only 11 months before your wedding (yes, that means not until Sept 2012 - talk about cutting it close for my taste - and they only do one wedding per month!). Now, I have emailed and have yet to get a response, but I'm wondering if I become a non-playing social member (which has a much smaller membership fee) if you guys think that would count enough to be able to book my wedding now?
Has anyone heard of anything similar to this before? Advice (besides give up? LOL)?
