    I ordered my cake topper, cake knife, and unity candle set this week.  I should have it hopefully next week.  Sunday is my 2nd and last Bridal Shower.  I have to admit I have been a terrible Registry Stalker and I can't even believe how generous our guests are!

    Also, I know these are a couple weeks old, but I had my first fitting and this is the first time I have been able to post pictures:

    Right now I can't think of anything major to AW about except.....ONE MONTH!!!!!!!!

    So happy, I finally found a place that sells the stag kilt pins we needed for the boutonnieres at a decent price.  And way cheaper then I thought!!  $10 a piece.  Every other place I looked wanted $20 or more for a kilt pin!!

    OMG 9 days!!!! After 5 years we've finally made it this far:)  I ordered our toasting glasses so excited to get them. FI gift should be here soon too:) Thats really it.So as long as the church doesn't get closed before net saturday all  is well.

    Ally - OMG, stop. don't say yours is a month away! ahhhhhhhh


    I PICKED UP MY WEDDING BAND YESTERDAY!! OMG, I obviously tried it on but did not want to take it off, haha we ordered ours together and it was more convenient for me to pick them up... well, I picked mine up but returned Dan's right away because 2 days after we ordered it, I found it on the store's website for $200 cheaper AND I had a discount code for $50 off sooooo I was like HELL YES I'll save $250. His ring is supposed to be arriving at my house tomorrow. [: 

    -- I had a shower on Sunday and my mom surprised me by getting a few gifts including toasting flutes that were heart shaped, which were really cute/cool and made me happy because even though I never mentioned anything.. we weren't planning on having them because we felt it was an unnecessary expense so now I'm glad we have them!

    -- My last shower is on Saturday and I'm so excited to see some family members I haven't seen in awhile!

    I know, a month is crazy!!!!!  We also got toasting flutes without asking for them.  My mom's friend that hosted our shower bought us flutes and cake cutting set from Things Remembered.  I've been looking at them but I keep thinking about how unneccessary the expense is.  It was very sweet of her.

    I just bought my super cute shoes to wear to the RD and B-party.  They'll be red.  I struggled with the decision to go with a bold pop of color, and I am glad I did.

    I am leaving for up north tonight when I get out of work for three days in the UP with engagement pics being taken on Mackinac Island on Sunday! I am so excited! I just hope FI manages to smile like a normal person, ha! He tends to be like Chandler from Friends and make weird faces, like in the ep where Chandler and Monica have their e-pics taken, ha! I told him to practice in front of the mirror!
