groomsmen gift

Anyone have any unique ideas for Groomsmen gifts? We do not want to give them something they are going to put away and forget about or that they have already from other weddings. We are looking to stay under $50 a piece. Just thought I'd ask to see if ya'll had any ideas. Thanks :)

We ordered nice sets of poker chips.  They all actually USE them, but its not really something they'd pay to buy for themselves.  We found them online and they came in a nice silver carrying case.

We did pint glasses with their names etched on them and gas gift cards.

We did custom bar signs from a place like this and Grooms Crew shirts for them to wear at the reception.

The Pub signs were a huge hit since most of our friends were purchasing their own homes.

I was in a wedding 2 years ago and the groom gave his groomsmen gift cards to best buy.

We're giving them personalized beer steins with best buy gift cards inside.

Oh, we also paid for their tux rentals and hotel rooms for the weekend.
It was really appreciated since most of our friends were just out of school or working at their first job.  Maybe offer something like that (like the tuxes were only $80 each and were comparable to getting them a decent sized gift card somewhere yet saved them money)

We were thinking about gift cards tailored to what they like, I just wasn't sure if that was too impersonal. Also the groomsmen are all at least 10 years older than us (at least (35) so that changes things as well. Two of the three don't drink if that helps at all :)
