Barn Rentals in North Georgia

I am really interested in getting married on a farm with a barn. However, all the farms that are labeled as wedding venues want incredible amounts of money just to rent the facility. Does anyone have or know of a farm/barn that can be rented cheaply?

    Try Tucker Plantation, near Athens.  Do they charge a fee to reserve the facility but they allow you to bring in your own vendors which usually saves a ton.  We were looking at a Sunday and the fees really weren't that bad.  I'm sure they're higher for a Saturday though but it would be worth checking out.  They have beautiful grounds and a couple of barns.

    Crooked Pines Farm just built a beautiful barn that they are beginning to have weddings at. They are very decently priced too. I believe they have a special going on right now with their wedding package, that is normally $4,000, but is being offered for $2,000.
