Mother-son Dance

Although this is my second wedding, it is my fisnce's first. We will have the mother son dance for my fiance and his mother, but I dont know what song to pick for my son and I dance since he is the one giving me away. Any suggestions??

Since this dance is between you and your son, I'd recommend "You are the love of my life" by Carly Simon. I love that song, it's from a movie (This is My Life), and I bought the movie sondtrack back before there was an internet, LOL. She wrote it for her son that she had with James Taylor. I get teary eyed every time I hear it.

I always said I'd dance to that with my kids at my wedding. Until I got married in August 2011 and they both (son 24, daugher 16) thought it was lame, LOL.

We're also doing a mother son dance at our wedding. Im still debating on I hope you dance by Lee Ann Womack or Mumford and Sons Home. I wanted to do Only you can love me this way by Keith Urban but my sons said its too much of a lovers song, but it you listen tobthe lyrics it sounds just like a mothers love. Ill let you know if I fine anything good
