Rehearsal Dinner near Galleria?

I'm trying to find something near the Galleria, between the Loop and the Belt, basically, that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Any ideas? I already looked at the more expensive places, but I'm hoping to get a lower-cost alternative.

    You could try The Canyon Cafe. We have been thinking about using it as ours.

    What kind of atmosphere are you looking for? Los Cucos has a nice private room, and they do not charge to use it. I don't know if that is too casual though.

    What about Corelli's Italian Kitchen? They don't have a private room, but it is a smaller place and the food is awesome and very inexpensive. Bayou City Seafood and Pasta is great, too.
