New to the Board!

Hi DW Brides!

My fiance and I got engaged early December and are in the EARLY stages of planning!  We are looking at Spring/Summer of 2011 and Mexico - Riviera Maya.  Right now I am leaning towards Playa del Carmen.  If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it!  I'm so over-whelmed by all the options out there :)

    Welcome to the board!

    I'm getting married in March in the Mayan at the Occidental Grand Excaret.  Our honeymoon will be at the El Dorado (which is a nicer resort and I recommend).  Find a travel agent who specializes in weddings and talk about what your needs are. Will there be kids? Do you want a disco or lots and lots of pools? They'll help you narrow it down and find something in your budget.

    Hi and welcome! This board is fabulous and the ladies are super helpful. I don't have any suggestions as we got married in Hawaii, but I wanted to say congrats on the engagement and happy planning!

    1st clomid cycle 50mg June 2012- No response :: HSG August 2012- Left tube blocked, right tube clear :: 2nd clomid cycle 100mg Aug. 2012 ovulated August 15th BFN :: 3rd clomid cycle 100mg Sept. 2012 ovulated Sept 17th :: BFP Sept 30th DS born 6/15/13 ::BFP #2 Oct 2014 DD born 7/1/15 :: applied to be a surrogate April 2017 :: Transferred 1 embryo for IFs Dec 2017 :: EDD 9/9/18

    Welcome to the board.  The ladies here are WONDERFUL!  I got married in Jamaica, but have been to the Riu Tequila in Playa del Carmen.  Our wedding was a Riu Resort in Jamaica and they did a great job.  HTH!

    I've stayed at the Iberostar - that was about 10 yrs ago and I dont know if it is still there or not...  For what it is worth, the Iberostar was nice, but catered to Europeans (breakfast had a lot of deli meats, etc.).
