Calligraphy?

Another invite question!
Did anyone use a calligrapher? Does anyone know how much they run?
I am trying to print my envelopes on my home printer and it is not working out! They aren't centered properly and leaving ink streaks on the back of the envelopes.
What are some other options? I am so frustrated!

What kind of printer do you have and what type of envelopes are they?  I know inkjet printers and metallic paper do not mix.

You could also try wrap around labels (fancier than than generic labels) and do that instead.  Essentially it's a long label that wraps around the front and back of the envelope.  That's what I plan on doing.

it is an older printer but the envelopes are plain white/ cream colored. I printed clear labels for my STDs and had no issues!
Where do you get wrap around labels?

I used a calligrapher, and it ran about $3 or $4 dollars per set for both the inner and outer envelopes. Most calligraphers also offer a computer option, which is cheaper and you don't have to deal with printing them yourself.

I designed the wrap around myself but there are a ton of places to get ones free (martha stewart weddings for one comes to mind.)  If you google image search "wrap around labels" it will give a better idea of what I'm talking about.  I will then print them on full size label sheets I bought from labelsbythesheet.com.  Below is the link for the exact sheets I bought.
