Weddings Showers - Thank you notes to parents?

I am having three bridal showers for my wedding. My mom and mother-in-law are invited to all of them (they insisted!) and also insisted on buying gifts for each one, even though I told them not to because they are paying for the wedding. My question is, do I write a thank-you note for each shower gift? We are giving them nice parent gifts at the rehearsal dinner - should I wait and do one big thank you then, or write one for each gift? Thanks!

    Write a TY note for each time a gift is received.  That goes for the moms or anyone else.

    Why not thank them multiple times.  It sounds like they are going out of the way to be super nice.  The more thank you's the better.

    I agree.  Thank them for each individual gift.  You are such a lucky girl to have such a wonderful and supportive mother and FMIL!  :-)
    Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
