I wanted my dad to feel included so I let him select our song for the father/daughter dance. With the help of my mom, my dad selected a real tear jerker because he said the lyrics really meant a lot to him. The song is A Song for My Daughter by Ray Allaire. I can't even listen to the song without blubbering like an idiot so I know on the wedding day I will be a crying mess! However after the traditional dance, he wants to break into something funky, probably a Motown number and be a little silly. Apparently he saw a video like this on YouTube and loved it (and it totally fits his personality!) Do you think it would be tacky or ruin the moment?
