PIP: Show me your wedding dresses!

I thought it would be fun to have a post with all of our dresses since it seems like a lot of us have gotten ours lately.

Here is mine. Please ignore the scary looking model (she reminds me of the witch in the Narnia movies):

I won't be wearing the bolero (not my style and it doens't come with it anyways). I'm also having the belt come unattached and I'm wearing the belt pictured in the last photo.

And if my dress looks a little familiar...it's because it's the one Taylor Swift wore in her "Mine" music video. I had know idea about that until I came home and was looking at pictures of my dress online! hehe

I haven't gotten my dress yet, but I am pretty sure I know what one I want. I love the lines of Alfred Angelo 1148, but because it's so plain, I'm going to sew pearls on the bodice in a scattered pattern. No picks of mine... It's 2 seasons ago and allure only puts up their current collection and I'm not taking pics because I don't want anyone to see me in it! I'm kinda bridezilla about it... o well

Well I cannot find the picture of mine online to save my life! The small bridal shop didn't give me the designer name (odd...but not like I need it really) and they don't have all of their dresses on the website. So here's some of me in the sample.

The sample wasn't white, but we ordered white (it still looks really white IMO lol)

I absolutely love this dress!!!

Edit: Everyone's else's dresses look great!

I agree! I always love how different everyone's dresses are. They are all gorgeous.

Kelsey, are you wearing Amsale? There were two Amsale dresses on my "final" list.

I'm caving...I haven't said anything about this up until this point, but here's mine.

at home with FI, but will post tomorrow when I'm at work! even thinking about my dress gets me excited! your dresses are all AMAZING!!!! sometimes I wish we could wear wedding gowns at various other times in life, but then I guess it wouldn't be as special as it is.

@shanee, that first dress was one of my fav's when I was looking around. I just didn't like how it fit me.

Everyone's dresses are so pretty! I don't have pictures of me in the dress on this computer because I don't want FI to see it, but here's the dress ala the website. I might go on my mom's computer and post some of me in it later, since I'm at home tonight.

I definitely will be removing the feathers that are coming out of the flowers on the skirt. I've also thought about removing the flowers, but I think I'll keep them!

All of your dresses look gorgeous! Here is mine. Right now its about a size to big for me, but that's what altering is for. Here is when I tried it on in the store.

It came in yesterday and here is a pic of it in my FIL's closet.

It shows the detail a little better.

It is about 6 inches too long so that's why it looks huge!!! and i'm wearing a blue sash and here's a picture with it

I got my dress from DB, and the picture doesn't do it justice, but oh well :-P it has a lot more beading and detailing than what's shown.

here it is. too big for now. and for anyone thinking of dress shopping from the samples at a bridal fair, first pic is in the free for all "dressing room." i went back after things had calmed down but there were people everywhere the first time i tried it on!

and everyone's dresses are amazing. even from just chatting on TK, i think everyones' dresses fit their personalities- i think it is so cool how that happens and i am so happy for all of us!

This is my dress! this picture does it no justice... In fact, when I saw it on the Internet... I hated it, but when I tried in on in the shop.... I looks perfect for me!!! Mine is Ivory, and It looks amazing on my skin tone! I can't wait for FI to see me in it on our wedding day!!!!

And like others have said... Ignore the crazy looking model

I have mostly been lurking around the June 2012 board, but I couldn't help but post my dress! I bought it last August on my first trip to try on wedding dresses.. it was the fourth one I tried on. At first I had a little second thoughts about buying one so early, but I do love my dress. We are getting married June 16, 2012.
