nope, I think it dropped into one of those random files that you can never find. Ah well, sometime in the future whoever gets this computer after me will find it. I'm annoyed though, Firefox didn't give me the option to decide where to save it.

How do I find out where my browser (foxfire) saves downloads? I know I can find the path somewhere, but so far I've been SOL.

Are you trying to open the downloads? You can get to them by going to tools, then downloads... does that help? Or are you trying to find them from outside of Firefox?

I'm trying to find them on my computer. My downloads list is empty. I guess I could save something else and try and see where its routed. Stupid computer.

Cara,

It should go to your (userame)/downloads folder on your C drive.

If it doesn't .. when you download the file in firefox, and the status bar pops up that shows the file being downloaded, right click it and click "open containing folder".. it will show you the folder it's in on your computer so you know for future.
