Beach Ceremony Music??

I have three people attending my wedding that play an instrument... saxophone, trumpet, and a oboe. Would any of these instruments sound good solo? Do you have any suggestions about songs to the instruments. Thanks a ton!

All three of those could do a solo.  You could also probably come up with an arrangement that would suit the three of them together (definitely the sax & trumpet, the oboe is a bit more unorthodox but it should still be fine together).

Trumpet - what about the Clarke's or Purcell's trumpet voluntary for the recessional?

Sax - same things that trumpet can play

Oboe - anything classical, maybe used as prelude or processional, such as Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring, Ave Maria, Panis Angelicus, Water Music (Handel), Four Seasons (Vivaldi).  The oboe might be quiet on its own and need amplification or backup from keyboards.

Have you asked them if they are willing to play?  One of them might be able to come up with an arrangement for all 3 of them to do.  Or at least they can suggest pieces they have played as solos in the past.
