Wedding Cake

My h2b doesn't like fruit cake but loves profiteroles so we are going for a fabulous tower of them French style - a croquembouche!  Only question is white, milk or dark chocolate frosting!Laughing Anyone else not choosing fruit or sponge cake?

We had cheesecake instead of traditional wedding cake and it was a big hit.  It's your wedding, so do what you two love and what reflects your style and personality!

I would go with a frosting that everyone would like, either white or milk chocolate would probably be your best bet.

Can you possibly have some profiteroles with each of the flavors?

Very few people actually use fruit cake for their wedding cake.  Few even use sponge cake.  Brides today tend to pick whatever flavor and filling suits them.

My daughter and SIL elected to have layers the same; they had chocolate cake with an Irish cream filling and vanilla butter-cream icing.
