Menu?

Ok so im a total DIYer, my FI and i are planning on catering our own wedding. It will be buffet style yet elegant so my question is do i make a dinner menu or not?? I do love the idea of having a little menu for our guests to look at when they sit down at there tables, and since i will be printing my own invites,rsvps,and programs it wont be that much extra work to do a menu.

What are you ladies opinions? Has anyone ever done this? Does anyone have a menu you did that i could look at

If you're catering it yourself, perhaps the better question is what are you guys good at cooking (and doing it in advance)? Catering your own wedding is a huge undertaking, IMO. You may save money at the expense of time (and sanity) and that's something not to be taken too lightly, you know?

Having said that, the best version I've seen was the weding the bloggers over on Young House Love did.

We're not catering our own reception, but I did use Vista Print postcards to print menu cards (for free)
