Wood slabs - Does anyone know where I can buy wood slabs/slices locally I live near chicago loop?? something like this

    Craft stores like that.  Don't forget to bring the pic and ask around.  Chances are the sales associates might know or guide you.

    They for sure have them at Hobby Lobby and other craft stores.  However, they aren't quite that thick.

    I saw them at anthropologie this weekend. (the oak brook location) but i doubt they are cheap.
