New to the area

Hi all,

Currently my family has a ski house in the Pocono region of PA. I'm currently attending school in a different state and am hoping to recieve some suggestions of reception halls in this area. Thanks for the help!

    Are you looking to get married in the Poconos, or just the general area?  I am getting married at Skytop Lodge in Skytop, PA (a little past Mount Pocono).  We also looked at the Stroudsmoor in Stroudsburg, which is beautiful and Mountain Springs Lake, which is also really nice. 

    There are also a lot of options in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area.  I am not personally familiar with the area, but I am sure the other girls on this board are!

    Thank you! Primariliy looking int the Pocono region, I'll definately take a look into those places.

    We got married at Ehrhardt's Waterfront Resort and I can't rave about it enough.  It was a GREAT experience!
