    What part of eastern KY?  Are  you near WV, or VA? Or TN?  I'm not sure how close you might be to Lexington, but there's always David's Bridal.  They have sale/clearance gowns in all sizes, from 0 to 24W.  There's a David's in Charleston, WV.  Could you plan to take a day, and possibly drive to Lexington or Cincinnati?  The Reading bridal district has LOTS of stores, and I know the one I dealt with listened to my budget, and kept my expenses down.
