oh boy?!? Help please :)

Hi everyone,
Due to recent health issues, I am in the process of re-planning my big fat Irish wedding originally planned for Las Vegas to a much smaller, wee-tiny Irish Virginia ceremony.  And I need help.  Neither of us live in Virginia, the FI is from there originally but hasn't lived there in oh, 20 years or so now.  Sigh. lol

My FI's parents live in Springfield VA and have graciously offered their beautiful backyard for our ceremony.  That is about as far as I have gotten thus far.  I need a really good hair and makeup person and a really good photographer.  We want to have our photos taken on the day of the wedding but also we want to go and do a "photo tour" around Washington, DC a few days later.  Ideally of course we would like to keep both of these costs as reasonable as possible.

I've asked my FMIL and while she has given me several recommendations for both the hair and makeup and the photographer I'm not sure her and I are on the same page.  The hair and makeup person had never even heard of airbrush makeup and the photographer was a little old fashioned for my taste.  While I appreciate her help I'm looking for some suggestions that are a little more modern.

So that's where I'm hoping you ladies can help.  Also, any suggestions for bakeries and florists would be great as well (we are only having a small cake and very few flowers made).

    I'm not sure I can help with makeup and hair, as I got mine done in downtown Fredericksburg and she did not use airbrush.  However, I do have a few wonderful photographers that you may like...

    Sorry to hear about the downsizing of your wedding :( For cakes, I'd highly recommend Cupcake Novelties in Winchester, VA. She's doing our wedding cake and her samples were amazing. You might want to contact her right away as she books up fast! www.facebook.com/cupcakenovelties. HTH!
