  Usually you would put your married name inital.  I was thinking the same thing but I'm not changing my name so we scrapped that idea.

  I went out and googled monogram ettiquette and it sounds like most people agree the monogram should be: Bride's First Name initial, Grooms Last Name initial, Groom's First Name initial, if you are taking his last name
