wasn't sure where to put this post....

I know I have to order dinners for the band members, but do I have to send invititations to the band?  if so, can it be 1 invitiation to the whole band, or do I need an invitation for each person in the band?

what about the photographer, do I have to order a dinner or mail an invitation to him?

    Yes, you should order meals for all of your vendors who will be there for your reception --- vendor meals are typically at a lower cost than your guests' meals --- meals are also sometimes required as part of a contract

    IMO invitations for vendors are not necessary as they are contracted to be there working...we did not send them to any of our vendors :)

    Thanks Bostonbride.....I didn't think I had to send invitations to the band and photographer...just want to double-check....

    No invitations are necessary for the vendors.

    You probably should order a meal for your photographer, even if it is not in the contract, otherwise he may leave to go get himself dinner! However, it is usually in their contract.
