Super Cheap Wedding Venues in Atlanta area

Hello ladies! It is wedding season in my family with me and two of my cousins all getting married within a year of each other Laughing  One cousin wants to get married on a REALLY tight budget like $1,000. Is there any hope for her? She would like to find a place to do a small ceremony with a punch and cake reception after. She would like to bring her own food and drinks.

Any help would be appreciated!

And while we are on the subject....I'm looking for an all-inclusive venue anywhere in the Atlanta area for $7k-$10K Wink Thanks!

Your cousin could look into getting married at a public park. I know that there are SUPER cheap rentals available in Gwinnett Co. for residents.

For your venue - you want downtown ATL or metro?

Thanks Melissa...I'm not picky. I'm assuming metro Atlanta would be cheaper but if I could get a swanky venue downtown I'd reserve it in a heart beat lol

Here's a whole list of venue to check out - however, they're all similar in style because I was looking for a specific type of venue (old house, historic building, etc).

    Taylor-Grady House: http://www.taylorgradyhouse.com/index.html
    Braselton Stover House: http://www.braseltonstoverhouse.com/index.htm
    Bradford House & Gardens: http://www.bradfordhouseandgardens.com/index.html
    John Oliver Michael House: http://www.johnolivermichaelhouse.com/homeplace.php
Vecoma at the Yellow River (AMAZING rates...especially on Fridays, Saturday afternoons, and Sundays): http://www.vecoma1.com/index.htm
    Burge Plantation: http://www.burgeplantation.com/
    Vines Mansion & Gardens: http://www.vinesmansion.com/
    McDaniel-Tichenor House: http://www.mcdaniel-tichenor.org/

Also check out the venues by Magic Moments - Little Gardens, Primrose Cottage, The Atrium, etc

Naylor Hall in downtown Roswell is really pretty. I am actually getting married there next Saturday and they are within your budget

Find a state park in the area.  They generally have reasonable rental prices for group shelters (some are more campy than others.)

    Btw, Taylor-Grady is not metro-Atlanta.

FOr your cousin the Roswell river landing is only 900 to rent it- and it comes with chair sand  tables for reception and outside chairs for the the actual ceremony- which is on the roswell river- very nice site! full kitchen and dance floor- easily fit 100 people- has fire place too!!!

Hi, Try the Female Seminary in Lawrenceville. It is a beautiful location and I believe you can bring your own food.....It is considered within the State Park guidelines so it is SUPER inexpensive!!!!! Good Luck! Also flowers are SO EASY to do yourself.   Good Luck, Kim

  • Unfortunately, it did not work out with me and my fiance.  However, we have a gorgeous wedding venue booked that we need to get rid of.  If you are looking for an off-beat venue without all the restrictions of a typical venue, then you need to check out this house.  It has 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, and can sleep up to 40 people.  It has a huge back yard that faces the lake.  And plenty of parking for up to 200 guests.  What you spend in one night at a traditional venue you get 4 days for you and your guests at this beautiful house.  Message me and I'll give you more info.

  • Where is this located at? And price
  • Hey im sorry to hear about your fiance as well. However, I too love the look of your venue. If possible please email me the information as well at rondriaturner gmail.com please

[QUOTE]Well, I was planning a wedding for Spring 2013 for my daughter, but since she's got a baby on board we need a venue for June with a very limited budget.  Looking for a house or venue rental where we can do our own catering and bring our own alcohol - not that the bride gets to imbibe!

I am in the same situation, planning on an Oct wedding for my daughter instead of Mar 2013. Did you guys find the place you were looking for? Very interested on the details.
