kinda e related?

When someone is divorced are they a matron or maid of honor? I lean towards matron because to me the word maid is someone never been married but when i looked it up all it said was matron for married, maid for unmarried. In this case she is not married but has been.

I would just ask her what she'd prefer. But technically my gut says it would be matron.

The word matron just makes anyone sound old and dowdy.  I'd pick maid if I had a choice.

Just ask. I would personally hate to be called a matron lol.

See my gut woulda said 'maid' because she's currently not married.

    Asking is a great idea!

yup i will suck it up, now that i think about it i think matron will make her feel really old. I was purely thinking about it from an etiquette stand point before.
