Recption Food Ideas/Help

Alright, the ceremony is planned for around 1:30pm with a reception to follow right after. We are just planning on serving "snack" type of food at the reception - cheese, sandwiches, and fruit/veggie trays. Is there anything else that we could serve that would not be too expensive? We are on a pretty small budget so it can't be anything to expensive.

Crackers and an anitpasto platter would add in nicely.

Alternatively, you could forget the snack idea and do a cake and punch reception. Put out a dessert buffet or have passed mini desserts and have punch and champagne.

We're looking at doing a finger foods dinner so maybe you can get some ideas from our list. Right now all we have is sliced fruit, nuts, veggies, cheese, ham, turkey, and breads. We're also going to have a candy bar. GL!

I've gotta say, I was at a wedding last weekend with a fantastic dinner (I mean $75-a-plate good), but the best part was the mini-desserts afterwards. Keep the food yummy and simple and you're bound to succeed!
