Yay! I got to try on my dress today for the first time since I bought it.
I bought a sample dress at 1/3 the price that fit pretty well w/o alterations. I then left it to my mom to bring to someone to have cups put in, to have the strings cut, and to have it cleaned. I knew I needed to lose a few lbs to make it really fit...
Well, everything turned out perfectly! I tried it on today, and I love it all over again. It just needs one small adjustment (the straps shortened by an inch), and it will be perfect.
I actually felt like a bride today...weird!
