Hi ladies! I have been around The Knot since I got engaged 11/5 but I am just now checking out the message boards. I am getting married July 28, 2012 in Michigan, but I live in South Carolina which is proving to be a bit challenging!! We were just in MI for Christmas and got A LOT done, but still have quite a bit to go of course! Anyway - I hope to get to know some of you around here!

Wow! Thanks everyone for the welcome!! We are getting married in Dearborn, MI which is where I grew up.

So nice to meet all of my Date Twins as well!

We did some whirlwind planning while we were in Michigan for Christmas... So far we have planned the food menu for the reception, picked out invitations, found a baker for the cake and picked the flavor (still need to finalize the design when I go back in April), decided on the location for the rehersal dinner, met with the minister who will marry us... I have a florist picked out, but have not yet met with her..my mom has talked to her. Oh, I have bridesmaids dresses picked out also. My mom and sister (my MOH) are coming down to SC to look for my dress in a couple of weeks, so I'm excited!!
