Reasonably Priced Make up and Hair Stylist Needed - Maui, HI

Hi -

I am getting married on Maui in January 2011. I have started some preliminary "shopping" for someone to do my hair and make up for my big day. It seems like the prices that I have been quoted are astronomical.

My hair style is pretty basic and my make up should not be complicated.

That all said, anyone have recommendations on who they have used and/or the best way to go here?

I am starting to wonder if I should just do it myself?!

Please advise.

    Hi Laelle.  The best thing to do would be to hit the "Local Wedding Boards" link on the left and find the one for Hawaii.  I was looking for a photographer for my honeymoon and the girls over there are very helpful.

    Come and visit us on the DFW board too if we can help with anything locally.

    get with a mary kay rep, (i am one) and they can walk you, or a friend, through the BEST tips on doing your own make up that way you do not have to pay!

    It is REALLY simple, and the products arent expensive!

    I live in Indiana, so obviously i couldnt do it myself, but im sure you can find a rep by going to marykay.com and find a rep tab.
