I am getting married July 9th- I ended up with that date kind of my default since I knew I wanted a summer wedding and that was the only date left at my venue in June or July...we will be having an outdoor ceremony- I am slightly worried about it being too hot, but just keep telling myself everything will be fine :) I wanted a summer wedding because I love when all the flowers are out and things are green, plus I wanted to find a venue where people could go outside on a deck or terrace and enjoy a nice summer night while having a drink and taking a break from dancing! So I am probably baised but a july 13th date seems like a great idea to me :)

Ours was Juky 3rd of last year. We wanted a summer wedding, but I also am in school, so I had to work around that schedule a bit. We decided on the 3rd because our dating anniversary was the 4th. It turned out that his parents were ALSO married on July 3rd, so it just kind of worked out!

It was pretty hot out that day, but we spent most of the time indoors. Our church didn't have AC, but we provided fans for people, and had big fans and doors open on the side of the church to let more air flow in haha.

The worst part was probably taking pics outside because my (older) brother was whining like a little b*tch because he was too hot! Really, it wasn't that bad though!

We'll be getting married July 23.  I knew I wanted a summer wedding, and June is already a busy month for us with birthdays and annual family reunion, and August just didn't really seem like a wedding month to me, so that left us with July. I'm really not worried about the weather, but we're also not doing an outdoor ceremony.  For what it's worth, someone told me that June is actually the most rainy month of the year...not sure if they're right or not, but that's what I heard. Regardless, there will always be a chance of rain or bad weather no matter when you have your wedding. I say go for it!

July 9th for me too! We decided on it kind of to avoid other weddings. FI's cousin is getting married in June and I didn't want the weddings to be too close togeth (I think everyone should have that time be just about them and didn't want to step on any toes). Our church might be hot be we are bringing in fans and it will be dark so it won't be too bad.

We got engaged in July and the venue was available so we thought why not. I'm not worried about the weather because realistically you could have bad weather any time in the year.

We're getting married July 17. We picked July because I'm a teacher and FI recently went back to school, so a summer date was a no-brainer. In June teachers are still kinda busy, and in August we have to get ready for the next year. Plus, I'm looking for a new teaching job and most teachers are hired in Aug, so I didn't want the wedding to conflict with it.

I'm not worried about the heat so much as possible rain, but that is the risk I knew I was taking when I decided on an outdoor ceremony.

We picked July 16th for an outdoor ceremony. We have many options if it rains or get bad weather so Im not worried. Honestly we are in MN and you never know what kind of weather we will get. I say go with it! It will be hot im sure but it will be great!!

Mine's not quite July, but pretty dang close-June 30th, 2012! Day after would be the first!

Anyway, I know we picked that date since it was the weekend before the 4th and a lot of my mom's family is in town anyway for the 4th, so we wanted them to be able to kill 2 birds with one stone basically without it being on the actual holiday.

We picked our date, July 2, because it was a holiday weekend, but still far enough away that if people want to travel back they still have the third.  A lot of our guests are out of towner's so the feedback we are getting is they are liking the long weekend, kill 2 birds with one stone thing.  I really wanted a summer wedding anyway, and it was a date that was open at both our church and reception venue.  We will only be outside for photos, so I am not worried about the weather too much.
