Anyone's wedding party uneven?

More bridesmaids then groomsmen? vice versa?

I'm looking at having 5 or 6 maids (2 girls, 3 & 8) standing with me and FI most likely only 1-3 groomsmen (2 of which will be boys, 14 & 15)

I'm not big for formality so I don't care if everyone has an "escort" but I was curious if anyone else is going to have an uneven party?

    Probably. I asked four girls, one can't come, FI asked six guys, they all have to fly in from England so we're still finding out how many can come! (So far two can one can't one... basically won't).

    We have escort ideas figured out for if we have more guys than girls (add parents and maybe grandparents to processional for them to escort down). Not sure how we'll do it if we have more girls. Maybe just have MOH walk alone

    H and I had an uneven wedding party.

    The GMs were already at the alter when the BMs processed in.  For the recession, my MOH and H's BM walked together, then my one other BM walked out with two GMs and the last two GMs walked out together.

    I had 6 BMs and H had 3 GMs.  All went well. My niece who was a Jr BM, walked in and out with the RB.  The last 2 BMs walked out of the ceremony and were announced at the reception together.

    We will be uneven.  I have MOH + 3 BMs, FI has Best Man + 2 GM.

    For processional, FI and his Best Man will be in front and the rest of the wedding party will enter boy-girl, girl-girl, boy-girl.  For recessional I think it will be MOH-Best Man, girl-boy, girl-boy, and then the last girl by herself.  People will exit with different people than they entered with.

    The wedding party that I'm in will be uneven. I'm maid of honor and there are two brides maids and two groomsmen. There is a chance that the groomsmen won't make it to the actual wedding because it involves travel to Florida but that they will be at the reception when we get back into town.

    I think it use to be such a big deal. I had our church offer that they all walk single anyway. Our church is weird, no real center aisle. I think you should have who you want and there is always a way to make it look nice!
