Knottie and Knottie S/O GTG idea

So I thought something sports related, ok Phillies related, would be fun for everyone.  Us and our S/O!

A game is probably out of the question, $, lack of tickets available these days, etc etc etc

I know McFadden's attached to Citizens Bank Park offers Happy Hour specials, during any home Phillies game.

I thought this would be cool because everyone could train, subway, or drive in, and still get the experience of being down there, but spending a little less money....ok probably a lot less money.

I looked into their specials already.
So for 2 hours, during any home game....
$3 Domestic Drafts
       Probably Bud, Bud Lt, Lager, and like beers
$3 Well Drinks

Also for every 10 people in the group, the group would get a $25 gift card....not bad....


Anyone think this is a good idea?
I know there are a lot of home games left in May and then of course all summer...Thoughts?

    Sounds like fun! I love anything Phillies related. My only reservation is that it is so insane in there on game day that it is almost not enjoyable at times. At least that was my experience the last time I was there. Does it clear out a bit once the game starts?

    Also, for me personally I start my class next Monday which is every Monday-Friday 6-10pm until the end of July. So we could only do a Sat or Sun.

    I most likely wouldn't come.  I wouldn't want to pay for parking if I'm just going to the bar.

    The option to car-pool could be available?

    Also train or subway?

    And yes during the games it is pretty calm and people just chill and watch the game


    We could also look into doing it during an away game maybe?

    I would be in for away game too to save on parking. I was going to say about parking at first but then I thought well any time I go into the city to eat or hang out I pay to park...

    I think its a good idea. I think the away game might be the way to go b/c it will also save on battling the traffic to get there!

    I don't think FI will come, but I'm in! My weekends are pretty full between now and July 3, but I'll have a lot of free time after that!

    Away games in May (if everyone wants less of crowd and free parking):
    Tonight
    Tomorrow Night
    May 27th-31st

    Home games in May:
    May 18-26

    All in all I think we shoud plan this for June... thoughts?

    Gzilla said that he would MAYBE come (which is a big step! LOL).

    June is crunch time for me, so hopefully I won't have a lot of stuff to do so I can come!  I know there's a weekend away series June 17-19.

    Maybe we should push this to July?

    This girl will be away the 17-19, your damn right its an away series!

    My nephews and niece miss their aunt cait and I miss them.
    So I am traveling.
