Ideas needed for a reception/party a week after wedding

Hello.. we are planning a party to celebrate our marriage.  The party is almost 2 weeks after we get married and we are planning to host everything, but where I am having trouble is thinking of something "fun & memorable" to make it more than just a usual party.  We are having it at a family members home, and thinking 70 people will be there. Any ideas?

I am planning to do the Martha Stewart guest book idea where people write messages on cards that we will later make into a scrapbook.

    Your party will be fun and memorable because your friends and family are celebrating a wonderful event with you.  Make your party personal to your and your new DH  and people will enjoy and remember it. 

    IMO, what makes a party memorable is good food, good drinks, and especially a radiant bride and beaming groom who actually take time to interact and share time with their guests.

    If you try to get too "trendy" or clever it can backfire, IMO, and make guests feel like you're just trying too hard.  Happy wedding, and happy party.
