Setting up your registry

When did you start setting up for your registries?  I get married next Feb. but i don't want to start it to early.

    We did ours like three months out. Like a month before the wedding invitations went out. That way everything we listed is fresh on our minds and we didn't accidentally buy something that was on our registry.

    We had set one up one at Target a year prior to the date, but we forgot the log-in, had a bunch of items on there we had already bought, etc. and ended up just having the company delete it.
    And now we are as one

    I think it should depend on when you have any wedding showers. If you have are having any shower(s), then I would say you need to have your registries set up prior to those invites going out for the shower.
