Venue Suggestions

We are planning a fall 2013 wedding.  Does anyone have any inexpensive,but pretty places to have our wedding.  I really want an orchard but I dont know of any around upstate SC.

    I don't know of any orchards, but I'm getting married at the Luv Shack on the River in Fountain Inn. You can Google it and their website comes up, but beware. The pictures don't do it too much justice, you'd need to actually go look at it. The price is very,very, very reasonable and the owner Juanita is SO nice and helpful. Seriously, tell her what youre thinking of and she'll help you in any way she can. =)

    We went to a reception at Chattooga Belle Farm in the Upstate.  It was one of the most beautiful venues that I have ever seen!!

    I don't think they've ever done weddings, but Nivens Apple Farm has a large apple orchard near me.  Maybe they'd be willing to do your wedding (and who knows, maybe they have done them before). If you've got your heart set on an orchard, might as well give them a call, worse they can do is say no.

    There is a botanical garden in Clemson that can be used.  It's beautiful.

    I was in a wedding at the Courtyard by Marriott Greenville Downtown that was beautiful!!! They had some outside tends that look amazing. I think they have some pictures of one like that at their webpage: http://www.marriottcourtyardgreenville.com/
