Share with us your WR and NWR updates from the weekend!!

**ps. we are all getting SO close! It still seams so surreal!

Re: Weekend Updates

  • I devoted essentially my entire weekend to wedding crafting. I had other stuff I needed to get done but it is a wonderful feeling having it all packed away.

    - WR -
FINSIHED all wedding crafts! Tablecloths, aisle runner, laced covered jars. bridesmaid bracelets, bridesmaid wire hangers, glowstick sign.    As soon as my sister in law writes out the place cards I'll have to hand stamp the table number on the card since we are still working on the seating chart.

Me and the FI also took a trip to stores to figure out the best way to save money but also buy a bunch of tubs to store all the alcohol and pop in at our outdoor reception.

     - NWR -
um, dishes and watched some olympics... while crafting

  • WR: Finished our seating chart. :) I also had my last bridal shower which was so much becuase it was an all white party and my FMIl did such an amazing job decorating! The sad part of the weekend was I sent my ring in to be soldered. Kay will now have it for the next ten days and the next time that I get to wear it will be when FI puts in on my finger for the wedding. Missing it already but so excited to get it back soldered!

NWR: Moved into our new apartment! I love everything about our new place and we are slowly starting to feel settled. It's been hard not opening the shower gifts to use around the apt. Cannot wait until after the wedding to be able to use all of those items!
  • WR: My bachelorette party was Saturday night! I had a blast. At first I was thinking of just inviting my friends, but then decided that I would invite my aunts. I'm so glad I did - they were a blast and the life of the party! I'm still recovering, lol.

NWR: Got my final haircut before the wedding on Saturday. Had dinner with my parents, went for a 15 mile bike ride and watched some of the Olympics on Sunday.

  • WR: Finished making the bouquets and the bouts! I'll post pics when I can. Worked a bit on the seating chart, but still not done. Bought FMIL's gift! Also received the BM's gifts, so I just need to make the last portion of theirs and then I'll be done with their gifts.

    NWR: Went to several parties.
  • WR: Absolutely NOTHING!

NWR: Went to the Lake of the Ozarks right after work Friday, and got back late on Sunday. Got way too much sun, and read half of a book. Perfect!
  • FI and I have our bachelor/bachelorette parties, two bridal showers, and an out-of-town golf tournament still taking place the next few weeks before the wedding. We're super excited, but needless to say, this past weekend was the last "free" one until the wedding, so we're feeling the pressure. Seems crazy...feel like I still have a lot of DIY!

WR: Followed-up with all "nonresponders" on our guest list, completed seating arrangements for reception and rehearsal dinner, finalized vows, finished table numbers, made mani/pedi appointments for the ladies, got FI's rehearsal dinner outfit, found my attire for upcoming showers, MOB and grandmother found attire for wedding, and MOG sent out RD invites

NWR: Date night with FI, watched olympics, made a new recipe for cookies (so delish!), went on a couple walks with our puppy, and hosted brunch for some family on Sun

  • WR seating assignment done. Escort cards. Bridal hanger, flower girl basket started. NWR went to a town celebration and slept a lot. Determined to start feeling better before our wedding.

  • WR: Picked up flower arrangements for the church (AC Moore, did a beautiful job!)

NWR: Went crabbing, ate too much, went to the beach, then proceeded to the bar when thunderstorms rolled in, took a much needed nap, and met my MOH's new doggy!

This was supposed to be my weekend of doing nothing but laying on the beach/next to the pool.  Obviously I didn't stick to the plan.
  • WR: wrote cards for some VIPs with roles at the wedding. Packed the box with decorations and favors for the venue. Cleaned the house to get ready for guests. NWR. Relaxed. Needed a nice weekend with nothing to do before people start arriving tonight.

  • WR- Had bachelor/bachelorette party, got grooms gift. That's it!

NWR- Mostly bachelorette activities, I had some friends from out of town staying with me.

  • WR: Finalized ceremony and reception songs, finalized ceremony with officiant, followed up with final stragglers who hadn't RSVPed, finished seating chart, created table numbers

NWR: Went to a baseball game, played mini-golf and hit some balls at the driving range, and had a bonfire with friends
  • WR- had our last counseling session with the Pastor. My FI thought he was going to have to memorize his vows and almost passed out LOL. Decided to do the sand ceremony with the kids so I have to pick out a set. We FINALLY finished our play list for our iPod for the ceremony and the reception. Lastly my son finally got fitted for his tux!

NWR.-Hung out with my in laws and the kids. Overall relaxing weekend.

WR: FI and I picked up our wedding rings on Saturday!  We also FINALLY got our rings insured, and we opened a joint savings account.  I worked on music for the DJ, and finished the last of the thank you notes from my showers.

NWR: Went for an 8 mile run on Sunday, watched a bunch of the Olympics.  Oh, and FI's friends took us out for a nice dinner on Friday night because they can't make it to the wedding.  I guess that's WR!

WR:  Bridal shower with FI's family.  I had a blast!  FMIL did a great job planning everything and putting it together.  We also took care of the balance for the cake and the flowers.  FI and I finalized our reading selection and I emailed the readers what they will be doing so they can practice.

ETA:  This week will be spent trying to track down the people who haven't RSVPed.  I'm so annoyed right now.

NWR:  Not much of anything.  Watched the Olympics and hung out with my family.
